Sex Offender Targets Over 350 Teenage Girls On Facebook

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. – Tonight, one Pound Ridge mother is being hailed as a hero by her local community.

After discovering a Level 3 sex offender had moved into town and began contacting her daughter online through Facebook, she immediately notified the local police.

Edward Campbell, who in 2002 at the age of 22, was convicted of having sex with a 13 year old girl, had befriended more than 350 teenage girls on Facebook, Twitter, and other social networking sites. Authorities say Campbell was immediately arrested once it was confirmed that he was a registered sex offender communicating with minors.

In addition, he was charged with violating the conditions of his probation when he moved into town and did not register with the local authorities as a convicted sex offender. He faces up to seven years in prison.

The subsequent police investigation uncovered a pattern of predatory behavior since Campbell arrived in town. Police discovered many of the teenagers he befriended were students at various middle schools in the district and that Campbell introduced himself as a rap star.

While there were no reports of him raping any of the girls, police say his intent was very specific and if it weren’t for one very astute parent, they have little doubt that it was a matter of time before he perpetrated a serious sexual offense.

Campbell moved into a local apartment rented to him by a friend, but the landlord of the property said he had no knowledge of Campbell living there and that he was not on the lease.

As a condition of his probation, Campbell is not allowed to be within a half-of-a-mile of an elementary school or daycare, yet he took a job as a bus boy at a newly opened restaurant that put him in close proximity to both.

At the time of his arrest, he was in possession of two cell phones and a computer, all of which are prohibited under the conditions of his release. There was evidence that he used the electronic devices to communicate with various teenage girls on Facebook and Twitter.

“This is not a guy that just met a girl on Facebook and became friends with her. This is a predator that manipulated victims to lure them,” Police officials said. “He’s not a rap star. He’s a guy trying to create this groupie environment to manipulate girls and draw them in.”

Victoria Cooper, a resident that has a 12-year-old daughter at the local Elementary School, who is just starting to “get into computers” said, “I didn’t realize exactly what was happening, but I’d be lying to you if I said I felt comfortable. I don’t. I don’t feel comfortable at all. I’m a little jarred by the idea of a sex offender living so close to my children. It’s very upsetting that this has happened in my community, and now I’m going to be as vigilant as I can.”

Authorities suggest concerned parents monitor their child’s online activities and subscribe to a sex offender registration service. They say you will receive email notifications about new sexual registrants in your area as well as emergency offender alerts.

As a first line of defense, they also suggest parents talk to their kids about online safety, and Google the names of their Facebook friends, along with the word “sex offender.”

“We encourage you to find out who your kids friends are, especially if they are using any social networking sites. You’ll probably find out very quickly that they are communicating with people they shouldn’t be.”

  • Are Home Warranties A Good Investment?

Are Home Warranties A Good Investment?

Home warranties are big business. One out of 5 homes in the U.S. has one of these policies that cover things that homeowners insurance doesn’t, from appliance breakdowns to plumbing problems to electrical issues. Some people swear by their home warranty; others have been ripped off by an industry that isn’t regulated in some states. A home is the largest purchase most people make in a lifetime. While it’s understandable to want to protect that investment, it’s important to know how to determine if you need to buy a home warranty.

Owning a house means that repairs and maintenance issues will come up. Even with home warranties, homeowners should budget for home maintenance. Experts recommend that homeowners set aside 1 percent of the house’s value each year for repairs.

    Don’t let a seller-provided homeowner’s policy substitute for a home inspection if you’re buying a house.

    1. See what a proposed home warranty covers.
Often, the homeowner warranty policy provides coverage for the repair or replacement of basic home systems, including electrical, heating, plumbing and major appliances.
Companies that offer home warranties may provide coverage for other items such as swimming pools and septic systems at an extra cost.

Ask what your costs will be with a home warranty.
Most warranties specify that you will pay the cost of the service call with the warranty picking up the remainder of the costs.
Annual premiums can range from $250 to $600 per year. The cost will be more for adding items or premium packages.
A builder’s warranty may differ from a standard home warranty.
3Know what to expect from a home warranty or builder’s warranty.
Scheduling can be a problem when using a home warranty company approved repair firm.
The home warranty company contracts with specific companies; you don’t get to choose.
Service technicians may try to sell you unnecessary services.
4Weigh the costs of repairs with the benefits of a home warranty.
If you buy a $600 policy that you use twice in a year, once for a stopped up sink and another to replace a heating element in an oven, then your warranty costs more than your repairs.
If you have a $600 policy that replaces a $3,500 air conditioning system, the home warranty has saved you money.
5Read the homeowner’s policy service agreement very carefully. You’ll discover that some policies have loopholes. Look for exclusions or conditions such as:
    Pre-existing problems that aren’t covered.
Requirements that coverage for repairs start after the homeowner has paid for an upgrade of the house to current building code standards.
6Investigate a warranty company’s history and complaints before you sign, particularly if your state doesn’t regulate the home warranties industry.
Public companies will have annual reports available so you can check their financial stability.
7Forego home warranties if your appliances and home systems are relatively new. The cost of repairs are rarely as much as the warranty itself.
A home warranty policy may be a good idea for a house with older systems, particularly if money is tight.
Alternatively, if you have a decent emergency savings account, you may decide against the home warranty.
8Expect a builder’s warranty for a new house. Many are protected for the first year.
Builders who use subcontractors receive warranties from the subcontractors for materials and parts.

Pay for the repairs and replacements.
Home warranty companies tend to choose the cheaper repair over replacing an item.
Consumer Reports advises that major appliances more than 7 years old should be replaced instead of repaired. They should also be replaced if repair costs are more than half what the replacement cost would be.

  • Everything You Should Know About Your Credit Score

We depend on credit for so many important things in life — whether it’s for buying a car, house or computer or getting a student loan. A three-digit number — your credit score — can determine whether you can do these things and even how much it will cost you.

How can a simple number determine whether you can buy a house or car? If you’ve read How Credit Reports Work, you know that your credit report contains a history of how you’ve paid your bills, how much open credit you have, and anything else that would affect your creditworthiness. Your credit score boils down all of that information to a three-digit number. Using the credit score, lenders can predict with some accuracy how likely the borrower is to repay a loan and make payments on time. It’s how electronics and department stores can offer instant credit.

This incredibly important number, which affects how much you pay for credit, insurance and other life necessities, used to be hidden from consumers. Until recently, only lenders and other businesses that used the score could access it. Fair Isaac and Company, which developed the score, felt that the score would only confuse consumers since there was nothing to tell them what it meant or what lenders were looking for.

In 2001, however, all of this changed due to pressure from the U.S. Congress and industry and consumer groups. Now you can view your credit score — for a fee — from credit reporting agencies and credit monitoring services.

But to help us understand that number and ultimately know how to improve it, we’ll need to find out how it’s calculated

  • Can You Really Make Money As A Mystery Shopper?

Can You Really Make Money As A Mystery Shopper?

Everyone loves the idea of being a mystery shopper. Getting paid to buy items at your favorite stores is like a dream come true. So when we were offered the opportunity to interview a veteran mystery shopper to get the inside scoop on what it’s really like to get paid to hit the stores — we jumped at the chance — providing we kept the identity of the mystery shopper, well… a mystery.

Here’s a recap of that interview:

Like everyone else, I have an inbox full of spam. I ignore most of it. But, one day in 2007, I decided to open an email that read: “Sign up to become a Mystery Shopper!” And, for some reason, I clicked the link.

I’d heard the pitches: “Get paid to shop!” and “Get free stuff!” But I didn’t know what was required to be a mystery shopper. So I took a chance, figuring, “What do I have to lose?”

It was more like what I had to gain—not only little perks, like free jeans, but also enough money to buy a car in cash.

    How Mystery Shopping Works

When I first signed up to shop, I was 30 years old and had just started a new job as an intellectual property assistant (a specialized form of legal secretary) at a law firm. On top of my regular expenses, I owed about $45,000 from two years of law school, but I was earning just enough to afford my overpriced studio apartment on the outskirts of Boston. And that was about it.

When I got that email about mystery shopping, I was cautiously optimistic. Although I signed up to be notified about opportunities, I elected not to pay the fee (about $5 per month), which meant that I could only see the first few lines of a job posting. But that didn’t stop me: I quickly realized that, most of the time, the listings offered just enough information that I could Google the info to figure out the company name, go to their website and apply directly through them. I’d discovered a loophole!

Mystery shopping is pretty simple: Companies hire people like me to visit their stores, pretend to be an average customer and report back on the service and overall experience. For each shop that you visit, companies pay an allotted amount of money (usually $5 to $20), and since they often want you to make a purchase to get the total customer experience, they also offer to reimburse for a certain portion of the item. It sounded doable, so I signed up with 20 companies to start.

Let the Shopping (and Earning) Begin!

My first “shop” was for an electronics store. (I can’t say which one because discretion is a big part of the mystery shopping code!) The company provided a scenario: I would interact with sales associates in two different departments, ask about a plasma TV or a GPS—and see if they engaged in conversation, were helpful or only answered questions in a cursory way.

It seemed weird to pretend—in fact, it’s still a little weird sometimes. You have to get an employee name, so if the customer service person isn’t wearing a badge, you need to ask, which can be awkward. Afterward, you file reports online, which are structured as multiple choice or two-sentence fill-in-the-blank answers.

At my peak, I’d dedicate four to six hours on a Saturday going to different locations of the same coffee shop, and then spend another two hours working on the reports because you must file within 24 hours. Yes, mystery shopping is a time commitment.

And, just like that, I was hooked: I began doing jobs during my lunch hour. I could even do them on my way home from work, since I’d be walking past retail locations anyway. Slowly but surely, the money began to roll in …

    The Glory Days

After taxes, health insurance and other deductions, my daily take-home pay at that time was around $100. Most shops paid me $7 to $15, so a $7 shop fee (plus the reimbursement for the meal) equaled about 10% of what I was making at my “real” job. That extra 10% a day was a big deal for me, even if all it afforded me was the chance to buy lunch a few times a week.

Once in a while, I’d have a big score. When you shop for more expensive items, like electronics, the company requires you to make the purchase and then ship the product back to them. But, during the flush days of early 2008, a sportswear company asked me to buy a $250 watch for reimbursement—and I got to keep it. (Actually, I returned it to the store, making twice the amount back.)

It was amazing how quickly that money grew: Thanks to my mystery shopping, I was able to set up automatic withdrawals each month from my checking account to an emergency fund and an account for house savings. At the height of my shopping, I was probably registered with 75 companies. I was shopping six days a week, sometimes even on Sundays—for brunch, of course!

But it was worth it: I made about $14,000 that year as a mystery shopper, and that’s not including reimbursements—just pure earnings. (For the record, I was issued a 1099 by any company that paid me more than $599 and taxed on those earnings.)

In September of 2008, I paid for a 2009 Honda Fit—in cash! There’s no way that I would have been able to do that otherwise. I love that car to this day.

Why I Scaled Back My Mystery Shopping

When the recession hit, a lot of companies that previously relied on mystery shoppers for customer feedback switched to different methods—like customer surveys in exchange for small giveaways—so there are fewer opportunities now.

I also changed law firms, and I make roughly $20,000 more annually, so I don’t need to spend as much free time mystery shopping. But even though companies aren’t as liberal with their perks due to post-recession budget tightening, they’re paying similar rates—and I can still earn decent extra cash.

In an average month these days, I probably do 10 to 15 shops. Although it’s all about convenience now—if I know that I’m going to be headed to a certain restaurant or store, I’ll squeeze in a shop. I can’t see a reason to stop!

  • Finding Someone Special To Share Your Silver Years With

Finding Someone Special To Share Your Silver Years With

If you’re over 50 and find yourself single and frustrated with a lack of available mates, you’re not alone. According to U.S. Census data, almost 30 percent of the 78 million baby boomers are single.

And, if you’re like most of them, you probably struggle with the process of meeting other singles who share your interests. This can be a huge loss for everyone involved, says life coach Barbara Singer, because women in particular are just gearing up for life in their 50s.

“They put their lives on hold to raise children, run households, develop careers, and contribute to community. Now, it’s our time to rediscover our dreams and talents that have been long forgotten.”

Among those dreams and talents are taking on new artistic or physical challenges they’d always wanted to try out, traveling to places they’ve long wanted to visit, and having wonderful, active sex lives. Indeed, a New England Journal of Medicine study found that 73 percent of people age 57 to 64 were sexually active.

“As boomers are getting older, they are less likely to accept that they are supposed to be sexless,” said Dr. Janice Epp of the Institute of Advanced Study of Human Sexuality. “A lot of research is finding people are saying, ‘Nuh uh!’”

They’re also enjoying it. Some experts state that adults 50 and older are having such a great time because they now know what they want sexually and aren’t afraid to go after it. Done with the games of their younger years, they are interested in finding someone compatible with all their current interests —which can include having an active sex life.

Perhaps not surprisingly, online dating services are one of the fastest growing ways mature individuals meet like-minded people, and the most successful of these sites is OurTime.

OurTime is thriving because it gives singles the opportunity to express themselves and find potential online matches for free. New members can create a fast, fun online profile and immediately start looking around at other singles. They can also increase their chances for a better coupling by completing their profile, adding photos and selecting preferences for the type of person they’re searching for.

And, because research has shown that people are generally honest about themselves online, these profiles are great ways to find amazing matches. The company also looks out for your best interests, placing emphasis on member privacy and integrity.

OurTime subscribers can view all the photos of singles you are interested in, send unlimited emails, and even see who’s been viewing your profile and shown an interest in you. You have more choices, more ways to connect, and more chances to find someone special.

As the cliché goes, you may not be getting any younger, but you’re not dead yet. If you’re ready to really take control of your social life and start enjoying your free time, OurTime could be your ticket to ride.

  • Get Brand Name Products For Pennies On The Dollar

Get Brand Name Products For Pennies On The Dollar

Few things match the thrill of getting an incredible deal on an item we really crave. It’s a basic human response that we all can relate to.

That’s why auctions are so much fun – they present the titillating chance of scoring something for a lot less than we would expect. And that leaves us feeling great, because we now have the object of our desire and we have money left in our pocket.

Marketers know this and exploit it all the time –hence the profusion of sales, discounts, coupons, and the like… so much so, in fact, that we become numb to the tactic. People just don’t believe they’re really getting a bargain.

But now there’s a new online company that has actually figured out a way to sell new must-have consumer products for jaw-dropping prices.

It’s called Beezid – and it turns out that they are selling everything from the latest new Apple iPads and iPods, to MAC and PC notebooks, to HDTV’s and gift cards from the top retailers at prices as low as 5% of regular retail prices.

Now, of course, anyone in their right mind would be skeptical of such a claim – so we looked into it to learn just how they do it.

It turns out that both the prices and the products are real. Beezid runs a unique version of the traditional auction – when you bid on an item you actually get charged a small fee of about 60 cents. Collectively, the amount collected for all of the bids on an item allows the company to sell the item at a price far below actual retail and even below the wholesale price they paid the manufacturer for it.

Figuring out how many bids to place and when to place them involves a little strategy but on Beezidit’s actually a lot of fun. Each auction has a strict time limit, and when you place your bid the system adds a little time to the auction to see if any other bids come in. If you have the winning bid when the clock runs out – you win the item for that price. According to Beezid CEO Matt Beckham, “Thousands of people are trying Beezid every day – and then coming back again and again – so we must be doing something right.”

For the auction winner, the true cost of the item is slightly higher than their winning bid price because they have also spent a little for their bids, but this amount is usually modest, and the savings still work out to be spectacular in most cases.

And then there’s the “Buy Now” feature. This allows bidders who did not win an auction to still buy the product they want and apply the cost of the bids they placed as a discount on the regular product price. So, you still get the item and the bids you placed previously in the auction don’t cost you anything.

So, if you want real deals – like a new iPad for under $34, a new Nikon Digital SLR Camera for less than $24 or a new 46” LED HDTV for under $25 – check out the action at Beezid.

  • Why Women Struggle To Lose Weight

Why Women Struggle To Lose Weight

    Alisa, couldn’t believe her luck.

After years of struggling with her weight, the mother of four from Chino Hills, CA had finally found something that worked!

Created by the world-class nutrition expert John Barban, the program is called The Venus Factor.

The Venus Factor is a 12 week fitness system specifically designed to help women sculpt their bodies by helping them lose weight in their most common problem areas: the belly, hips, waist and thighs.

The initial payment is only $9.99.

It is not 79.00 a month. It’s a 79.00 one time fee for the ebooks. And they are ebooks. With your purchase, you get access to the forums (which are an amazing resource, btw). They also have blogs, which you can set up for yourself. You can print off the workouts and take them to the gym or just keep them for home use. There are links to videos of every exercise, showing you exactly how to do it.

I can tell you, It is so worth it. It is not a miracle system. It is still calories in, calories out, very MFP friendly. Most people track cals on here, loseit, or spark people. It is challenging, to be sure, but it is also accessible. There is calorie software that helps you find the appropriate amount you should be eating based on where you are in your weight loss goals. It is based on an aesthetic, which I actually really like. It gives you something to aim for, rather than just willy nilly dieting and/or working out. I’ve used Beachbody systems and done crossfit, but each time (I put on weight, both muscle and fat, really easily, btw) I would get fitter, but bulk up in all the wrong places. With VF, I have more control over where I put on muscle because I am training for a specific look.

I have used the program for several years. Two years ago, I used it to lose about 15 pounds and completely recomp my body. I didn’t know how to do maintenance, though, so I rebounded. I put on about 30 pounds (not all fat… I’m definitely stronger than I was) and am now using their principles to steadily lose again. I have just entered their most recent contest (open to all people who buy the venus factor system). You can go to the venus factor blog and see the results people have had from the contests. It’s not BS. It’s hard work, but it’s worth it.

Also, the community is absolutely invaluable. The women are so helpful and encouraging. All newbies get discouraged and overwhelmed at first, but the ladies just lift you up. There is no cattiness. It’s amazing and wonderful. You can always try it out and get a refund if you hate it. They’re awesome about that.

Alisa Coles, before and after combining popular weight loss pills recommended by Dr. Oz.

Hi, I bought the program and read the 85 page booklet explaining it. It has very basic, sensible information about the female body, the metabolic rate, calories, dieting and exercising. What I found is that it has given me back my own point of view so I can follow my own good sense about my personal weight loss program. It is a program I am following as it took a sea of rules, opinions, friends advice, diet programs and simplified it into some good practical guidelines for me.
The down side is how many sales emails I get promoting special offers on supplementary things I can buy. It makes it seem all hype and sales, but I just stuck to understanding the basic program first and then I was able to decide if I wanted anything else or not.
It is true there are no miracles but this is program not a miracle. I still have to watch my calories, fat and sugar intake and I still have to exercise but the information here has helped me guide myself on a more successful path.

“…and on today’s show, we will talk about an exciting new pumpkin shape fruit that just may be the Holy Grail of weight loss!”

Alisa bolted upright, her eyes wide, as Dr. Oz introduced the powerful new belly fat blaster Garcinia Cambogia

Dr. Julie Chen sat down with Dr. Oz and explained how the active ingredient, HCA (Hydroxycitric Acid) made it so effective for weight loss, and how the “average person could expect to lose between 4-10 pounds a month — all without diet and exercise!”

It was then the cameras zoomed in for a close up on Dr. Oz’s skeptical facial expression. He looked square in the camera and said emphatically…

“I am immediately skeptical when anyone mentions a so-called “magic diet pill” that will help you lose weight without diet and exercise. I feel an obligation to protect my audience — so I conducted an my own independent study on Garcinia Cambogia. To my surprise and delight, the results were similar to Dr. Chen’s, so I have full confidence when I say Garcinia Cambogia does in fact promote weight loss without diet and exercise.”

Up till that point, Alisa had tried everything, including diet and exercise, but she could never stick with anything for very long. If this new fruit would allow her to shed pounds effortlessly — and it was backed by science and endorsed by Dr. Oz — she would give it a shot.

But there was just one problem…

Alisa couldn’t decide if she should buy Pure Green Coffee Bean
    or Pure Garcinia Camborgia Extract??

How Men Boost Testosterone Naturally At Any Age

If you haven’t heard the whispers, there’s a new supplement at GNC that’s got executives interested. Out of the tens of thousands of products sold by the nutrition giant, this particular supplement, a free testosterone booster known as Test X180 Ignite, is already well on its way to becoming one of GNC’s top 10 grossing products in a matter of months. The success is borderline inexplicable so we decided to ask the company’s Chief Marketing Officer his secret.

“It’s not complicated,” said the CMO. We sell a great product at a lower price than many of our competitors. Customers are smart – if you create a product that can benefit millions of Americans and it works, it’s going to sell. That’s what we’ve done here.”

Despite early success, Test X180 Ignite hasn’t been perfect. Because the product’s key ingredient is a very rare fenugreek seed extract known as Testofen, being able to keep up with the demand has been a challenge. “It’s a good problem to have, but one we struggle with everyday,” said the CMO. “Reality is, the supply is limited and keeping up with our customers isn’t easy. As we continue to work out the kinks in our supply chain, the best advice I can offer at the moment is if you see it, buy it, before you miss your opportunity. I think you’ll be impressed by the results.”

As it turns out, unlike many other free testosterone boosters, with the help of a regular strength training routine, within a short amount of time, men who had taken Test X180 Ignite reported feeling:

    Skyrocketed Libido
    Insane Boost in Energy
    Enhanced Performance

  • Flawless Skin For Women Over 40

Flawless Skin For Women Over 40

When we’re young, the main concern regarding our skin tends to be hiding pimples and experimenting with makeup. Teenagers roll their eyes at anti-aging concerns such as wrinkles and crow’s feet. After all, that’s years away… or is it?

According to dermatologists, the fight against the signs of aging could actually start as early as our 20’s. This is when we need to get serious about skin care, becoming vigilant about sunscreen, proper hydration, and looking to slow down the skin’s aging process.

In fact, our skin and the way it ages differ markedly as we grow older.

When it comes to treating skin for multiple issues such as: acne, fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin tone, etc. there are multiple factors to consider, including different levels of hydration, exfoliation, and supporting collagen and elastin production. And the severity of these issues depends on your age.

That was the conclusion reached by an MIT scientist in Cambridge, MA who wanted to prove cosmetic creams could compete with plastic surgery in the war on aging. She developed unique topical solutions for each decade when a woman’s skin goes through the most important changes—her 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s.

Over an eight week study consisting of 80 women between those ages, researchers reviewed the effect these different creams had on their skin. At every two week interval, each woman’s face was photographed for evidence of changes in her skin from when she first started using her age-based cream.

Seventy percent of women noticed an increase in their skin’s hydration in those first two weeks alone. At the end of the study, nearly 100 percent of the women were reporting significantly positive results from their age-based cream.

The scientist then used the results of the study to create a skin care line called Stages of Beauty. It consists of four creams formulated to treat the unique issues of your skin’s age, based on the most skin prominent decade.

For women in their 20s there’s the Radiance cream; lightweight and infused with an anti-aging complex that works to prevent the fine lines and wrinkles we develop in our 30s. It also contains other soothing ingredients to calm skin from breakouts and damage from the sun.

For women in their 30s there’s the Harmony cream; delivering a deeper level of hydration for the years when the moisture barrier begins to deplete. The Harmony cream stimulates the production of collagen and elastin to create a tightening effect of the skin. This pushes younger skin cells forward for glowing skin and helps prevent the skin drooping that starts to occur in our 40s.

For women in their 40s there’s the Elegance cream; an intensely hydrating cream, it stimulates the production of collagen and elastin to prevent fine lines and wrinkles. It also begins the process of cell repair and goes into DNA protection mode.

For women in their 50s there’s the Grace cream; an ultra-hydrating cream for the age when hormones shift into overdrive and a rapid deterioration of the moisture barrier occurs. The Grace cream works to balance the effects of hormones on the skin, stimulates the production of collagen and elastin to create a tightening effect, and helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

Every cream is formulated with a mix of proven anti-aging ingredients: Resveratrol, Apple stem cell botanical extract, Sea botanicals and Amino acids, Peptide triple blend, Prickly pear extract, Tetra peptide 17, Sodium hyaluronate, Amino acid complex, Hyaluronic acid, Acetyl hexapetide-3, and Seaweed extract.

But, do the creams really work? According to numerous women, including Jill Zarin from the hit series The Real Housewives of New York, the answer is “Yes!”

    Jill-Zarin

“I’m always on the lookout for products that make me look and feel my best, but it isn’t always easy,” Zarin states. “Stages of Beauty is the one anti-aging cream that has really made a difference for me. I look in the mirror every day and I’m amazed. It’s like nothing I’ve used before.”

If you’re tired of constantly changing product as your skin ages, or wondering whether you’re using the very best skincare available, there’s never been a better time to try your personal Stages of Beauty skin cream. That’s because they’re currently offering a free 14-day trial of each cream so you can see the changes for yourself.
